WHAT:
On Thursday, June 6, Turning Stone, the International Boxing Hall of Fame, Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions and boxing legends will officially kick-off International Boxing Hall of Fame Induction Weekend in Upstate New York. The festivities attract thousands of boxing fans, Hall of Famers and media to the region to celebrate another legendary Boxing Hall of Fame Induction Weekend.
Boxing Hall of Fame Induction Weekend will feature the return of Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions to Turning Stone for a World Championship Fight on Friday, June 7. The card is headlined by a 12-round battle between undefeated Oscar Collazo (9-0; 7 KOs) and Gerardo Zapata (14-1-1), as they compete for the WBO Minimumweight World Title. The fight will be broadcast around the world on DAZN.
Local fighter from Syracuse Bryce Mills will also fight at Turning Stone on June 7, marking his second Boxing Hall of Fame Weekend appearance.
Tickets for the Friday, June 7th fights are still available and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.
